SRP - The Hub

The Hub

The SRP is a provision for children with an EHCP who have a primary need of Speech, Language and Communication (with or without a diagnosis of autism).

Some of the entry criteria includes: –

  • Children must have an EHCP
  • Must not be on our mainstream roll
  • Be year 2 or above (we will consider consultations from the spring term of year 1)
  • Have a primary need of Speech, Language and Communication
  • Be working within 2 years of their chronological age
  • Be able to benefit from a mainstream curriculum with specialist support.
  • Not require a special school placement because of the complexity of their needs.
  • Need a level of specialist teaching, language support and environmental adaptations that cannot reasonably be provided in an ordinary mainstream classroom alone.
