Year 5 share signs and kindness during their legacy project!

Year Five completed their legacy project, this morning, and welcomed
Heathlands School for Deaf Children into our classroom. We introduced ourselves using the BSL we had learnt and asked questions like, what is your name and what do you like doing? We then played playground games, that we enjoyed, and learnt a game that Heathlands play frequently. We are going to add photos of our playground games into a legacy book for children in our school to use year on year. It was a wonderful experience to learn from and about the children and Mrs Smith was so proud of how Admirals demonstrated their learning powers and values whilst welcoming Heathlands so warmly. We hope to leave a lasting legacy link with the school, who we will keep in contact with each year, and create further strong relationship for years to come.
