Year 2 go back in time...

Emperors had a fantastic trip to St Albans Museum today! We found out about toys from Victorian times up until the present day. We played with toys from the past, including spinning tops, a jack in the box, yoyos, a kaleidoscope and a zoetrope. We compared them with toys we play with today and noted that most of them were made from wood and metal; none of the toys were electronic. We also visited the amazing Helios exhibition and saw the huge model of the sun. The children were beautifully behaved and a real credit to our school. Well done, Emperors!
