We think Monarchs might just be the busiest class on the planet!

Somehow, alongside a residential trip, our production, transition day, leavers’ assembly, celebrations and plenty of learning, they have also created a lasting legacy for our school.

Their legacy has been twofold. Firstly, they researched and wrote persuasive speeches about inspirational people they believe should become our new house team names, helping to shape the future of our school. Secondly, they have begun transforming our pond area into a calm wellbeing space by painting, planting and reimagining the area, ready for new benches to arrive so that children can enjoy it for many summers to come.

What a wonderful way for our Year 6 pupils to leave their mark on Margaret Wix Primary School. We couldn’t be prouder of everything they have achieved.
