KS1 really enjoyed their visit to St Albans Cathedral. We visited different parts of the building, finding out about the preparations for Christmas that Christians make during Advent. We retold the Christmas story, focusing on the gifts brought to Jesus by the wise men. We looked at different stained glass windows around the cathedral, including the beautiful Rose Window and made our own stained glass windows to take home. What a fantastic trip!
