Apollos have been on a super visit to St Albans cathedral today. We explored a ‘whale trail’ around the cathedral and saw some amazing sculptures of whales. Next, we visited a pop-up planetarium and spoke with experts from Hertfordshire University about the planets, stars and space. We also visited the shrine of St Alban and talked about the amazing history of the cathedral which stretches from Roman and Anglo-Saxon times to today. Huge thanks to St Albans Cathedral for a brilliant day!
