What a treat to listen to our three amazing violinists in this morning’s assembly. A big well done to Niamh, Duchess and Joy-Ye for having the confidence to play in front of the whole school and parents too!
We hope you enjoyed this afternoon’s musical performances as much as we did! The Spring Concert showcased much of our fantastic music provision with the children composing, playing and singing tricky pieces that required excellent knowledge of rhythm, dynamics, pitch and more! Well done everyone!
Wow, thank you to Miss Sikindari and her superstar helpers for a wonderful assembly on Eid and Ramadan! Very informative and interesting!
Our superstar Year 3 maths team are raring to go in their Hertfordshire maths challenge this afternoon!
Hummingbirds had such a fantastic trip to the cathedral and Verulamium Park today. We explored the different areas of the cathedral and were blown away by how beautiful is! We learnt all about the story of St Alban, dressing up as the different characters. We then went to see the Roman wall in the park and walked around the lake, spotting all the different signs of spring. We were delighted to see a nest of coots and some very large carp!
Showing the learning powers and values of resilience and self-belief, Mrs Watkins did it! She made it to the end of the London Marathon and we could not be prouder of her. Well done Mrs Watkins and look at that smile!
Don't forget to join running club before school every Tuesday to learn from the expert!
In today’s assembly we learnt all about Earth day which is celebrated throughout the world every year on 22nd April. This year’s theme is ‘Invest in our Planet’; we thought about how we as individuals could help to take action against climate change. We came up with lots of fantastic ideas! We will be doing some exciting activities this week related to Earth Day in our classes.
Mrs Campbell-Pugh put her talents to good use and created a timeline of the history curriculum for the Key Stage Two playground. The children are loving it and we especially loved looking at how it is personalised to our school and our area. Well done Mrs Campbell-Pugh and thank you!
