Life at Margaret Wix Primary School

We are hosting virtual meet the teacher and Head teacher events on the following dates and times:

Wednesday 25th November at 10 am

Thursday 26th November at 7:30 pm

Wednesday 6th January at 10 am and 7:30 pm

Nursery admissions 2021 key dates

Primary Admissions

Starting School Packs are sent out by Hertfordshire County Council to those parents who have children due to start in Reception.

The book contains the information you will need for your child's application and the appropriate procedures.

Margaret Wix Primary School has one intake per year for Reception and Nursery children.

Birth dates for new admissions:

 

Birthday between: Start Reception Class
1st September to end of August September

 

Secondary Transfer

 

“Moving On” to Secondary school packs are sent out by Hertfordshire County Council direct to those parents who have children in Year 6 due to start senior school in the September.

 

The book contains the information you will need for your child’s application and the appropriate procedures.

 

Applications can be made on line or by paper copy posted directly to the Admissions Team.
