PTA
Welcome to the PTA section!
Our school has a thriving parents group called 'Margaret Wix PTA' which raise funds throughout the year for the benefit of the school. A wide variety of social events are offered: Christmas Fair, Summer Fair, discos, family breakfasts and cake sales.
Parents automatically become members of the 'Margaret Wix PTA' when their child starts school and are encouraged to give support by attending events, helping for a few hours occasionally, or becoming a committee member. It is a great way to make friends and enrich the learning environment for our children.

Volunteers
We are fortunate to have parent helpers in school who help with a variety of tasks such as art, hearing readers and supporting school trips. Helpers are always welcome and if you feel you have some time to spare please do not hesitate to speak to any member of staff. You do not need any special skills, just a desire to help the children achieve well.
Second-Hand Uniform
If your child has outgrown any uniform, please consider donating items which are no longer needed. We will be delighted to receive any uniform in good condition which can be re-sold to other parents/carers at a low cost. Jumpers, cardigans and PE kit with the school logo are often in demand, and skirts, trousers, shorts and dresses are also useful. If you have anything to donate, please remove any names where possible, and wash and iron, ready for sale.
