District Sports!

Our athletics team have been in action this week at the district sports competition. Field events and relay heats took place on Tuesday with our year fives and sixes earning points for the team competition. Today’s track events were incredibly exciting with many of our pupils reaching the finals in their events and there were even some podium finishes:

Jeremi retained his district championship title by winning the year 5 boys 100m. This is the third year in a row that Jeremi has won!

Max became district champion after storming his way to victory in the year 4 boys 80m!

Amari sprinted to third place in the year five girls 100m!

Veera ran an incredibly well-paced 600m and earned herself third place!

We are so proud of all the children who showed our learning powers in abundance and, as always, were brilliant representatives of our school.
