KS1 visit to Batchwood Woods!

KS1 really enjoyed their trip to Batchwood Woods this morning. We found lots of signs of spring, including daffodils, bluebells, catkins and buds on the trees. We observed moss on logs, different types of fungi, deciduous and evergreen trees. Our walk really helped to consolidate our science learning this half term on plants and we had lots of fun too on a beautiful, sunny spring day!
