Workshop with Apsley Paper Mill
Year 4 have been learning all about paper this morning during a workshop with Apsley Paper Mill. This workshop, which ties in with our geography learning on sustainablity, taught us all about the history of paper making and recycling. We blended old paper to make into a new sheet and everyone had a chance to make their own piece of handmade paper. The children showed great curiosity and resilience as they build structures to support a tower of books from just four sheets of paper.
