Margaret Wix Primary School
Year two proudly shared lots of learning with us this morning during their class assembly. We heard all about:
counting in 2s, 5s and 10s;
fantastically descriptive writing based on ‘Julian is a Mermaid’;
history makers such as Malala Yousafzai, Marie Curie and Emmeline Pankhurst and those closer to home who inspire us to become history makers too, such as our Mums and Aunties;
the seven continents and, in particular, some amazing facts about Antarctica;
what plants need to grow;
the Easter story and symbols;
designing and making moving monsters;
how to stay healthy, resilient and believe in yourself!
Clearly, their focus on oracy has helped too as they have become such confident speakers, proudly sharing their learning with us this morning. Well done, Emperors!
