Year 2 visit St Albans' Market!
Year 2 really enjoyed their trip to the market this morning! We visited two green grocers, a fishmonger, a cheesemonger, a crochet stall and a stall which sold pet food. We learnt so much from the stall holders about which fruit and vegetables are grown in the UK, where different foods come from and how they get here. The children asked lots of thoughtful questions and demonstrated many of our school values. Well done, Emperors! A massive thank you to the stall holders and markets team for chatting to us and showing us around!
