  • Sustainability Day

    Wed 05 Jul 2023

We have been celebrating ‘Sustainability Day’ today!  We went on a litter pick around our local area and our school ground to ensure that the streets around our school and the areas within our school are clean and litter free. We had a wonderful gardening session with Mrs Jeffries in which we identified some different herbs and planted some lettuce and various other things. We also created posters, identifying different ways in which we could help to save our planet. Some of us even made bird feeders and eco pledges. It was a great day when we learned more about taking care of our planet. Look out for our new selection of books in the library on sustainability...coming in September!
