• Visit to Christ Church

  The whole school visited Christ Church St Albans today and found out all about the Christmas story. The children loved dressing up and acting out the main parts of the special story. They also enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions to advance their understanding of the Christmas story. All children were beautifully behaved, showing our learning power of respect for others in abundance. Thank you to Christ Church for having us. 

  

• Santa visits Early Morning Library Club!

  This morning was FANTASTIC! The children enjoyed a special story from Father Christmas and his elf. A big thank you for everyone who came today and a special mention to our very helpful reading ambassadors. 

  Thank you to Father Christmas and his elf too; it must have been a long journey from the North Pole.

  Wow! What an amazing first house competition! The bake sale was a roaring success and we can’t wait to find out which house raised the most money for our school. Well done to our House Captains for encouraging their teams to bake and buy!

  Hummingbirds and Emperors had a brilliant day at St Albans Cathedral today as they learnt all about how Christians might celebrate and prepare for Christmas to go with our RE learning. Despite the chilly weather, the children we impeccably behaved and really made all the adults proud!
