World War Two arrives at Margaret Wix!

What an amazing morning Monarchs have had being immersed in our WWII history topic. We’ve met billeting officers who checked we were clean and ready to meet our host families, we’ve learned to make do and mend by embroidering our own bookmarks and we made sure to use our rations carefully when baking delicious carrot biscuits! We heard tales of air raids and evacuation and can’t wait to make our own model Anderson shelters this afternoon.
